BLURRED IDENTITIES for Numéro Berlin presents an experimental approach to fashion editorial, focusing on the intersection of human form and sculptural materiality. Captured by photographer Jumbo Tsui and styled by Sina Braetz, the project employs high-key and chiaroscuro lighting techniques to abstract the subject, often veiling identity through intentional overexposure, silhouettes, and layered, translucent textiles. The series leans into a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing desaturated palettes and graphic framing to highlight the tactile qualities of silver metallic fringe, organza, and rope-bound sculptural bundles. The execution benefits from the collaborative efforts of hair stylist Werner Amort and makeup artist Hicham Ababsa, who emphasize raw skin textures and clean lines. Casting director Jean-Marc Mondelet rounds out the creative team, framing a narrative that plays with anonymity and geometric tension within both studio and industrial environments.
