Numéro Berlin’s editorial cover feature presents a study in contrasts, pairing sharp, minimalist fashion styling with high-contrast monochrome photography. Captured by photographer Tereza Mundilova, the series leans into an editorial aesthetic that juxtaposes architectural outerwear and structured tailoring with dynamic athletic apparel. The imagery utilizes clean studio lighting and stark backdrops to highlight textural details and sculptural silhouettes, often presented through expansive diptych layouts. With creative direction from Editor-in-Chief Götz Offergeld, the project integrates motion blur and multiple exposure techniques to emphasize movement alongside static portraiture. Featuring model Nicole Atieno, the production is further defined by the work of makeup artist Naomi Gugler, whose contribution supports the consistent, high-contrast visual language across the spread.
