Novembre Global explores the intersection of high fashion and intricate craftsmanship in the project Miniature Dolls, a series that scales the aesthetics of a couture editorial down to a whimsical, domestic tableau. Through a collection of meticulously styled interior vignettes, the work presents fashion dolls as subjects of refined lifestyle photography. Photographer Alessia Gunawan captures these miniature environments with a focus on tactile textures, employing a mix of soft, natural light and moody, low-key lighting to emphasize the delicate details of the garments. Set designer Rebecca Ilse constructs the dollhouse-scale rooms, utilizing ornate wallpapers, miniature furniture, and period-specific props to ground the figures in a nostalgic, cinematic atmosphere.
