Nature of Adolescence is an intimate editorial series produced for Office Magazine, exploring the nuances of youth through a raw, observational lens. Photographer Bex Day and fashion editor Kaduri Elyashar collaborate to construct a visual narrative defined by candid portraiture and experimental styling, blending domestic settings with outdoor play to capture an authentic, contemplative mood. The series leans heavily into an analogue aesthetic, utilizing natural light and visible film grain to emphasize tactile textures—from wet hair and skin to layered fabrics and unconventional props. The imagery employs a deliberate, clean framing that centers on the subjects, featuring modeling by Annabel Van Tilborg, Annabel van Tongeren, Edie Sunman, Gabriel Kemplay, and Gemma Seymour.
