Nanushka
High Summer 2024 Ad Campaign

May 2024
For the High Summer 2024 campaign, Nanushka transports the viewer to a sun-drenched Mediterranean escape where luxury fashion meets raw, organic materiality. Creative director Sandra Sandor leans into an aesthetic of tranquil repose, curating a collection that prioritizes tactile complexity—think embossed basket-weave dresses, intricate open-knit mesh, and bold leopard-print separates. Captured by photographer and director Dudi Hasson, the imagery excels in editorial minimalism, utilizing natural light to cast soft, rhythmic shadows against sun-baked adobe walls and rugged, wind-swept limestone formations. The campaign follows models Maya Stepper and Siobahn Filliettaz through a series of lifestyle vignettes that balance sophisticated urban polish with the effortless, slow-paced energy of a coastal holiday. The execution is defined by an understated, desaturated color palette that allows the interplay of textures—from the puckered weave of a strapless midi to the granular grit of the masonry—to take center stage. By framing the subjects against vast, horizon-focused seascapes and weathered architectural details, the project crafts a narrative of elegant ease. This high-summer vision succeeds by grounding its pieces in an environment that feels both expansive and intimately lived-in, channeling a timeless summer sensibility that feels distinctly Nanushka.
