Modern Luxury’s Grand Jeté x ABT x Dior project is a fashion editorial series that bridges the discipline of classical dance with high-end apparel. Photographed by Lara Jade, the series features dancers from the American Ballet Theatre captured in an interplay of architectural studio settings and textured, neutral backdrops. The execution relies on a monochromatic and earthy palette, utilizing natural light to accentuate the movement of the dancers and the intricate details of the garments. The styling, led by hair stylist Yoichi Tomizawa and makeup artist Deborah Altizio, maintains a refined, clean aesthetic that allows the classical lines and fluid postures of the performers to take center stage. The project spans magazine covers and editorial spreads, employing a mix of soft lighting and high-speed techniques to document dynamic leaps and sculptural poses.
