Modern Luxury presents 'DIOR X Uptown Girl,' a fashion editorial series that chronicles a series of candid urban moments. Shot on location throughout New York City, the project leans into a documentary-inflected sensibility to capture a range of subjects interacting with architectural landmarks, from the Guggenheim Museum to sun-drenched historic streetscapes. Photographer Yossi Michaeli employs a mix of monochrome and warm-toned palettes, utilising natural light to define the interplay between Dior's structured garments and the surrounding city environment. The visual language oscillates between polished, high-fashion portraiture and spontaneous street photography, favouring clean compositions and analogue film aesthetics.
