Wearable Intentions

Apr 2026
Wearable Intentions for Manifesto Magazine is a masterclass in editorial minimalism, where high fashion meets the rigid geometries of urban architecture. Through the lens of photographer Ami Lusinchi, the project explores the interplay between the human form and structured environments, utilizing natural light to highlight the clean lines and intricate craftsmanship of the garments. Stylist and casting director Elisa Serra Pompei orchestrates a series of sharp, monochromatic silhouettes that lean into a modern, refined aesthetic. From a woven, grid-like leather dress to an oversized olive-green coat paired with bold geometric accents, the editorial remains anchored by a sense of precise, deliberate composition. Hair stylist Rita Skomrova contributes a signature sharp, wet-look bob that complements the collection's architectural focus, while model Bibi Abdulkadir brings a poised, striking intensity to each frame. By placing the subjects against pale stone slabs, grid-framed windows, and distressed surfaces, the series draws a parallel between the sculptural nature of the clothing and the surrounding cityscape. The work channels a quiet, confident mood, masterfully utilizing low-key chiaroscuro and balanced, symmetrical framing to emphasize textural depth. This editorial serves as a testament to the power of a restrained palette and clever material choice, proving that when the styling and setting are perfectly calibrated, the focus remains entirely on the art of the silhouette.
