Maazi
Brand Identity

Jan 2019
The brand identity for Maazi serves as a sophisticated masterclass in minimalist fashion marketing, skillfully blurring the lines between high-end luxury fashion and raw industrial aesthetic. By leaning into a restrained, architectural visual language, the project orchestrates a deliberate tension between the organic elegance of its apparel and the grit of industrial environments. Through the expert execution by Querida, who handled the graphic design, the identity utilizes generous white negative space and elongated serif typography to establish an aura of intentional, contemporary exclusivity. The campaign captures a series of editorial moments, utilizing natural light and soft light to elevate everyday commercial iconography, such as shipping trucks and warehouse machinery, into a high-fashion narrative. This synthesis of cinematic photography and clean, grid-based layout structures provides a cohesive foundation for the house, grounding its spring/summer 2019 collection in a world that feels both grounded and aspirational. From the sharp precision of its business stationery to the rhythmic flow of its brand publications, the project avoids the clutter of modern trends in favor of an enduring, editorial minimalism. By placing structured silhouettes against the stark textures of industrial architecture, Maazi successfully crafts a distinctive, professional identity that feels equally at home in a glossy magazine spread as it does within a curated digital storefront.
