M Le magazine du Monde presents Fétiches et Variations, a recurring editorial series that explores the intersection of consumer goods, luxury items, and domestic environments. The project uses a range of still life compositions to blur the lines between routine objects and artful display, utilizing clean lighting and minimalist arrangements to highlight texture and form. Photographer Maona Micoud captures these diverse vignettes, from refrigerator interiors and kitchen sinks to carefully staged fashion accessories and furniture pieces. The project relies on the collaboration of set designer Camille Pouyat, who contributes to the consistent visual language across the editorial set. Fashion market editor Fiona Khalifa also lends her expertise to the series, ensuring each frame maintains a deliberate aesthetic balance through thoughtful curation.
