Fantaisie Urbaine for M Le magazine du Monde is an editorial project that explores the intersection of high-concept fashion and industrial architecture. Photographer Alexandre Guirkinger leans into a clean, graphic aesthetic, utilising natural light to bring out the textures of layered technical outerwear and vibrant, utility-inspired silhouettes. The production features a palette that balances stark monochrome backdrops with bold, primary-coloured accents. Styling by Hisato Tasaka frames the models against metallic walkways, tubular structures, and urban settings, highlighting a fusion of avant-garde design and functional workwear. With hair by Ryo Narushima and makeup by Porsche Poon, the imagery employs an analogue film technique to maintain a high-contrast, tactile quality. Casting, handled by Andrea Prato and Daniel von der Graf, rounds out this series, which brings a sculptural sensitivity to the fashion editorial format.
