Becoming Whitney Peak is an intimate fashion editorial series produced for Love Want. The project presents a detailed character study of actor Whitney Peak, captured through a series of portraitures that highlight both the subject's expression and the tactile quality of high-fashion tailoring. The imagery oscillates between moody, high-contrast monochrome and warm, soft-lit compositions that emphasize rich fabric textures, including patterned tweeds, lace, and intricate metallic details. Photographer Bart Celestino and creative director Justin Woo anchor the visual direction, utilizing minimalist studio environments to focus the narrative entirely on the subject. The work leans into a classic, editorial aesthetic, often employing natural light to maintain an authentic, reflective mood throughout the series. The styling by Ashlee Barrett-Bourmier complements the photography with a focus on sophisticated layers and clean, structural silhouettes, supported by the detailed hair styling of Claudio Belizario and make-up artistry by Ruby Mazuel.
