Love Magazine presents The Making of a Muse, an expansive editorial project captured by photographer Michael Bailey Gates. Featuring model Guinevere van Seenus, the series spans a collection of varied environments, shifting between rustic interiors and expansive outdoor landscapes. Creative direction by Juan Costa Paz ties the varied vignettes together under a consistent, art-focused lens. Styling by Stella Greenspan informs the wardrobe, which incorporates intricate lace, feathered details, and textured leather pieces. Utilizing analogue film techniques and natural light, the work leans into surrealism and monochrome palettes to explore its subjects. The project also includes appearances by actor Bobbi Salvör Menuez, with set design by Ava Villafañe, hair by Rob Talty, and makeup by Kennedy.
