L'Officiel Monaco’s editorial feature, Unmasked at Dawn, presents a series of high-contrast nocturnal portraits set against a rugged, sandy coastal backdrop. The project leans into a moody aesthetic, utilizing direct flash and low-key chiaroscuro techniques to emphasize the interplay between deep shadows and the intricate textures of sheer lace, satin, and metallic embellishments. Photographer Camellia Menard frames model Erica Honing in a series of deliberate, sculptural poses, often seated in ornate or modern black furniture placed directly on the beach. By isolating the subject against a pitch-black sky, the work channels a sense of dramatic fashion storytelling that highlights the sharp silhouettes and reflective details of the wardrobe choices.
