Season Kickoff, an editorial project for L'Officiel Monaco, explores the intersection of neoclassical architecture and contemporary high fashion. Captured by photographer Camellia Menard, the series positions model Cynthia Wu against weathered stone facades, cobblestone plazas, and reflective waterfronts, using the environment to ground the theatrical, avant-garde styling. The imagery channels a distinct sense of scale and texture, leaning into monochromatic palettes punctuated by rich burgundy and olive tones. Through the use of natural light and consistent vertical framing, the series highlights the tactile details of intricate feathered millinery, leather tailoring, and sheer fabric overlays, maintaining a clean, editorial aesthetic across the collection.
