Rebel Ballerina is a fashion editorial series produced for L'Officiel Baltics, captured by photographer Ivana Micic. The project juxtaposes the classical, ethereal aesthetics of traditional ballet with contemporary, gritty urban tailoring. By pairing voluminous, layered tulle skirts against concrete structures, metal staircases, and nocturnal streetscapes, the imagery explores the tension between performance-wear and street-style attitude. The editorial series utilizes natural light and analogue film techniques to emphasize tactile contrasts—blending satin ribbons and sheer hosiery with rigid architectural lines and dark bomber jackets. Whether set within a minimalist dance studio or an urban corridor, the composition favors clean, vertical framing to highlight the sculptural qualities of the garments and the model’s expressive silhouettes.
