About

Let's Frolic is an expansive fashion editorial produced for Heroine Magazine, featuring models Camille Desjardins and Morgana Schiermeyer. The series leans into a candid, outdoor narrative that pivots between the golden textures of sprawling wheat fields and the moody, enclosed atmosphere of wooded riverbanks. Photographer Kaj Jefferies employs a tactile, raw aesthetic throughout the shoot, frequently utilising analogue film techniques to capture the interplay of light and shadow across knitted garments and natural landscapes. The work is defined by its organic feel, with styling by Lola Chatterton emphasising structural layering and earthy palettes that stand out against the sun-dappled environments. Production was supported by hair stylist Takumi Horiwaki and makeup artist Lydia Ward-Smith, with casting by Tess Wilcox. The editorial showcases a range of motion, from expansive, sunlit portraiture to dynamic, candid moments set against shifting natural backdrops.
