Produced for Heroine Magazine, the editorial feature "With a drop of the stylus! All is forgiven." explores cinematic nostalgia through a series of monochrome portraits and intimate still-life compositions. The project leans into a raw, analogue aesthetic, utilising natural light and grainy film textures to frame a domestic narrative that blends contemporary accessory design with retro-inspired interior settings. Fashion editor and stylist Steve Morriss curates the wardrobe, while model Matilda Navratil anchors the series across a variety of interior and rooftop locations. Technical choices, such as high-contrast flash photography and deliberate chiaroscuro lighting, establish a moody, tactile atmosphere. The project also features contributions from hair stylist Lachlan Mackie and casting director Edward Kim, creating a cohesive visual language defined by textured monochrome and spontaneous, editorial motion.
