kabinet nádheych kuriozit

Sep 2026
Vogue Czechoslovakia explores the intersection of luxury goods and abstract form in the editorial project 'kabinet nádheych kuriozit.' The series leans into a refined monochrome aesthetic, utilizing high-contrast lighting and complex, warping reflections to recontextualize accessories as sculptural objects. Photographer Isabel Rovira Salvador and fashion stylist Guillem Chanza collaborate to frame footwear, timepieces, and leather goods through a surreal, minimalist lens. The work incorporates elements of chiaroscuro and macro photography to emphasize intricate textures—from snakeskin patterns to metallic hardware—while maintaining a clean, atmospheric focus. Produced under the direction of head of editorial content Milena Zuravljova, the series draws on analogue film sensibilities to create a curated cabinet of curiosities. The imagery consistently employs a stark, desaturated palette that highlights the interplay between physical objects and their mirrored distortions.
