Abstract Lines is a beauty editorial feature produced for Vogue Czechoslovakia. The series focuses on experimental graphic makeup, utilizing sharp, extended eyeliner and vibrant color pigments set against moody, low-key lighting. Photographer David Ajkai employs a macro perspective to emphasize tactile cosmetic textures, while makeup artist Giulia Carini uses bold, linear strokes to redefine traditional facial framing. The project leans into an editorial aesthetic characterized by deep contrast and minimalist composition.
