J.W. Anderson
Pre Fall 2024 and F/W 24 x Kubrick

Jun 2024
For the Pre Fall 2024 and F/W 24 collection, J.W. Anderson presents a collaborative editorial campaign inspired by the cinematic legacy of Stanley Kubrick. Designed by Jonathan Anderson and captured by photographer Joe Cruz, the project utilizes an analogue film aesthetic, characterized by its deep saturation and visible grain, to translate the collection's bold graphic prints and sculptural knitwear into a series of striking portraits. The campaign features a diverse ensemble of models, including Yue Gu, Honey Ordonez, Libby Bennett, Malik Derdak, Vasko Luyckx, and Vilmos Goczey, set against vivid, mottled backdrops. The interplay between high-contrast chiaroscuro lighting and textured surfaces highlights the collection’s intricate garment construction, from asymmetrical tailoring to statement eyewear. Hair styling by Tommy Stayton and makeup artistry by Kyle Dominic refine the presentation, grounding the artistic visuals with clean, deliberate detail.
