Justsmile Magazine
Special Hermès

Jun 2026
In the pages of Special Hermès, Justsmile Magazine delivers a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping back the noise of high fashion to focus on the interplay between form, light, and tactile detail. Photographed by Valentin Hennequin, this series functions as a visual study in modern masculinity, where structured silhouettes meet fluid fabrics. Through a deliberate use of natural light and chiaroscuro techniques, Hennequin elevates the everyday attire of models Ibraheem Howell, Kaissan Ibrahima, and Pascal Thulin, lending a cinematic gravity to each portrait. The fashion direction, led by Stuart Williamson, leans into a sophisticated color palette of creams, olives, and deep blacks, punctuated by the strategic, bold use of patterned silk scarves that anchor the minimalist aesthetic. Every frame captures a balance between the architectural precision of the interiors and the organic movement of the garments, from sheer mesh to structured leather. With subtle styling contributions from hair artist Tosh and makeup artist Hicham Ababsa, the project feels intimate and lived-in rather than manufactured. By utilizing analogue film aesthetics alongside high-contrast black and white photography, the team achieves a timeless quality that feels both contemporary and classic. This editorial campaign succeeds by favoring understated elegance, ensuring that the luxury garments serve as a canvas for a contemplative, human-centric narrative that resonates across the luxury fashion industry.
