The Leave of Absence is a cinematic video production for ItsHerWay, exploring themes of memory and domestic nostalgia. The film centers on the evocative details of a nursery, using a deliberate, slow-paced aesthetic to highlight the textures of an empty wooden crib, knitted booties, and other childhood mementos. Developed by agency Saatchi & Saatchi Middle East with production from Publicis Groupe MENAT, the project employs a live-action technique to capture a quiet, introspective atmosphere. By utilizing natural light to cast deep shadows across the interior, the visual language leans into a moody, cinematic tone that emphasizes the stillness of the space.
