Vogue Mexico
Italian Fragrances

Sep 2026
Vogue Mexico explores the sensory artistry of high-end scent in the Italian Fragrances editorial project. This collection of vertical product photography centers on the sculptural geometry of luxury perfume flacons, framing objects from Gucci, Emporio Armani, Valentino, and Bottega Veneta as central hero pieces. Photographer Catharina Pavitschitz employs a clean, minimalist approach, utilizing soft, natural light to capture the interplay of glass, metal, and amber liquids. The series is defined by a warm, saturated color palette, alternating between vibrant magenta and yellow backdrops that contrast with the intricate, refined packaging of each fragrance. Beyond the product focus, the project incorporates fine art floral studies. These macro botanical shots mirror the ingredients found within the scents, leaning into a moody, contemplative aesthetic with silhouettes and organic forms that underscore the editorial nature of the series.
