Hube Magazine
LEO

Jun 2026
LEO, the latest editorial feature for Hube Magazine, is a masterclass in raw, intimate portraiture that explores the intersection of vulnerability and urban aesthetic. Captured through the lens of photographer Arthur Iskandarov, the project leans into a distinct cinematic sensibility, utilizing natural light to frame its subject, model Dominik Datko, against a variety of gritty and minimalist backdrops. The series moves between high-contrast monochromatic studio work and candid outdoor vignettes, effectively weaving together a narrative that feels both performative and deeply personal. With fashion styling by Alex Klop, the imagery employs editorial minimalism and 35mm film techniques to emphasize the tactile quality of the subject's environment, from the weathered texture of city stone to the stark, doodle-covered medical cast that becomes a recurring, poignant visual motif. This project functions as an expressive study of character, utilizing 35mm film and chiaroscuro lighting to capture a diverse range of moods, from playful and humorous to introspective and stoic. By stripping away excess, the imagery highlights the interplay between the human form and its urban surroundings, resulting in a cohesive portfolio that feels authentic, lived-in, and visually striking, solidifying Hube Magazine's commitment to delivering compelling, high-quality visual storytelling that resonates with a modern, design-conscious audience.
