For Hube Magazine, photographer Julia Noni and fashion director Gabriella Norberg explore the intersection of surrealism and desert isolation in the editorial project A Nightmare or Relief. The series leverages a high-contrast aesthetic to juxtapose stark, arid landscapes with uncanny, dreamlike narrative elements. The production moves between expansive, sun-drenched outdoor scenes and dimly lit interior vignettes. Featuring makeup by Sara Tagaloa, the imagery employs natural light and a distinctly grainy, analogue film texture to enhance its nostalgic, cinematic quality. The spread weaves together motifs of high fashion, such as lace bodysuits and structured garments, with surreal props like oversized flora and masks to create a layered, conceptual editorial.
