For Hube Magazine, A Nightmare or Relief is a conceptual fashion editorial that leans into surrealist desert narratives. Photographed by Julia Noni and styled by fashion director Gabriella Norberg, the work juxtaposes high-fashion silhouettes—such as intricate lace bodysuits and bridal veils—with unsettling, otherworldly motifs, including alien masks and oversized Venus flytrap props. The project channels a cinematic, nostalgic aesthetic, utilizing natural light and the raw texture of analogue film to ground its uncanny visual themes. Across multiple magazine spreads, makeup artist Sara Tagaloa complements the surreal atmosphere with polished, detail-oriented beauty looks, bridging the gap between desolate, arid landscapes and domestic, interior dreamscapes.
