Description

The brand identity project for House of Adjaycent explores the intersection of skincare and artistic expression. The project combines commercial product photography with layered graphic design, utilizing clean, earthy tones and textured stone backdrops to ground the packaging. Key visuals feature amber and dark glass bottles adorned with expressive, hand-drawn typography and whimsical illustrations. By integrating elements like floral motifs and geometric graphics, the work leans into an artistic, collage-like aesthetic. The identity was developed with contributions from graphic designers and illustrators Claire Chang, Darryl Cheong, and Jay Liu, alongside motion design from Claire Chang and Jay Liu. Photography for the series was provided by Toh Xing Jie, utilizing natural light to highlight the tactile qualities of the packaging.
