H&M
SIMPLICITÉ

Feb 2026
The SIMPLICITÉ project for H&M serves as a masterclass in editorial minimalism, stripping back the noise to focus on the interplay between form, texture, and light. Through a series of carefully composed portraits, the collection explores the intersection of luxury fashion and everyday wearability. Kulesza & Pik capture the essence of this modern narrative, utilizing a sophisticated blend of natural light and sharp studio strobe to emphasize the tactile contrast between smooth leathers, fuzzy mohair knits, and delicate lace. The visual language is defined by a monochromatic palette that channels an understated, high-fashion sensibility, while specific shots—particularly those captured on analogue film—bring an evocative, documentary-style intimacy to the work. Fashion editor and stylist Nike Felldin ties the collection together, curating layered silhouettes that prioritize clean lines and architectural tailoring. With a sleek, pulled-back aesthetic directed by Ali Pirzadeh and polished makeup by Giulia Cigarini, model Taylor D embodies the project’s quiet poise. The imagery leans into the timeless tension of chiaroscuro lighting and high-contrast silhouettes, resulting in a series that feels both contemporary and enduring. By focusing on the structural integrity of each garment, the project transforms staple pieces into a refined study of contemporary elegance, grounded by an uncompromising commitment to minimalist aesthetics and visual clarity.
