Description

WISP is a fashion editorial series for Heroine Magazine, featuring a collection of images that blend high-contrast monochrome aesthetics with experimental layered compositions. The project, led by photographer Luisa Opalesky with fashion styling by Matthew Mazur, explores texture and form through a series of dramatic outdoor settings and architectural backdrops. The imagery utilizes a range of analogue techniques, including multiple exposure, double exposure, and intentional light leaks to achieve a dreamlike, cinematic quality. The production features hair styling by Jadis Jolie and makeup artistry by Alex Levy, whose work balances the intricate, sculptural garments with a gritty, film-grain finish. The series leans into natural light, moving between warm golden hour tones and desaturated, cool palettes to ground the editorial’s abstract styling in urban environments.
