Misplace is a conceptual fashion editorial series produced for Heroine Magazine, featuring an eclectic study of luxury accessories and everyday objects. Through a series of highly composed still-life shots, the project recontextualizes items like designer footwear, jewelry, and handbags by placing them alongside organic and surreal props. Photographer Cameron Bensley and fashion editor Peghah Maleknejad collaborate to create a distinct visual language that emphasizes material contrast and sculptural form. The series employs clean studio lighting and minimalist arrangements to highlight tactile details, utilizing techniques such as macro photography and subtle 3D rendering to elevate the featured items into refined, object-oriented compositions.
