Masque is a fashion editorial series commissioned by Heroine Magazine, exploring themes of identity and theatricality through a diverse collection of portraits. Photographed by Isaac Anthony, the project leans into a raw, avant-garde aesthetic, balancing highly structured, sculptural tailoring with intricate props and facial embellishments. Working with styling by Sam Knoll, hair by Ledora Francis, and makeup by Andrew D'Angelo, the series juxtaposes high-fashion garment details against both minimal studio backdrops and weathered, domestic interiors. The execution makes extensive use of analogue film techniques and grainy textures, resulting in a moody, high-contrast look that emphasizes the tactile qualities of the textiles and masks featured throughout.
