Heroine Magazine presents Masque, a fashion editorial series that explores theatricality and contrast through a collection of evocative character portraits. Photographed by Isaac Anthony, the project leans into an avant-garde aesthetic, utilizing heavy textural layering and intricate facial embellishments to create a distinct visual narrative. The series oscillates between moody, high-contrast studio setups and raw, domestic interiors illuminated by natural light. Styling by Sam Knoll anchors the project, pairing ornate, sculptural masks with diverse garment silhouettes ranging from heavy velvet to sequined evening wear. The production features hair styling by Ledora Francis and makeup artistry by Andrew D'Angelo, with casting by Brian Helm. Throughout the editorial, the imagery employs monochrome palettes and analogue film techniques to emphasize the raw, grit-infused character of each composition.
