Captured for Heroine Magazine, this editorial project explores the interplay between structured high-fashion silhouettes and raw, organic textures. Photographer Clare Shilland utilises natural light across both minimalist studio settings and urban environments to highlight the intricate craftsmanship of the featured garments. The imagery leans into a tactile aesthetic, showcasing pieces that range from heavily embellished, sculptural jackets to fluid, romantic dresses. With styling by Peghah Maleknejad, the series balances sharp, directional tailoring with softer, more relaxed elements. The visual narrative is punctuated by the work of hair stylist Kei Terada and makeup artist Jenny Coombs, whose contributions define a cohesive editorial language across diverse environments. Throughout the collection, the photography emphasises depth and fabric dimensionality, creating a varied and rhythmic progression of portraiture.
