Not Far from the Woods is an expansive fashion editorial produced for Herdes Magazine, showcasing a narrative-driven approach to rural aesthetics. Photographed by Simone Paccini and styled by Alessandro Ferrari, the series leans into an observational, cinematic tone, capturing subjects within pastoral landscapes and rustic, woodland environments. The project emphasizes raw textures and layered tailoring, with models Melinda Kiss and Valters Medenis positioned against backgrounds ranging from misty, fog-laden meadows to sun-drenched equestrian settings. The imagery utilizes a mix of monochrome and desaturated color palettes, frequently relying on analogue film techniques to heighten the organic quality of the apparel and the surrounding terrain. Casting for the project was led by Sofia Michaud.
