Harper's Bazaar Vietnam WEAVING DREAMS 2025

About

WEAVING DREAMS is a sophisticated fashion editorial series for Harper's Bazaar Vietnam, captured by photographer Shin Yatagai. The project explores a contemplative and quiet aesthetic, placing models Xue Huizi and Zhiqin Zuo within weathered, rustic interior spaces characterized by distressed plaster walls and natural light. Throughout the series, the imagery leans into a moody, low-key chiaroscuro style, using high-contrast lighting to accentuate the sculptural silhouettes of knitwear, draped gowns, and textured fabrics. The composition emphasizes a tactile interplay between the subjects and their architectural surroundings, often utilizing desaturated or monochrome palettes to enhance a sense of timeless elegance and minimalist detail.
