Perfectly Imperfect is an editorial fashion feature for Harper's Bazaar U.S. that explores raw, candid portraiture through a high-contrast lens. Shot by photographer Ethan James Green, the series centers on model Ida Heiner, capturing a range of expressive, natural moments against a minimalist studio backdrop. The work leans into monochromatic imagery, utilizing analogue film techniques to emphasize garment textures and sculptural silhouettes. The project maintains a consistent aesthetic through clean, directional lighting and sharp focus. Fashion styling by Malina Joseph Gilchrist highlights layered textures and structured tailoring, complemented by hair styling from Lucas Wilson and makeup by Kabuki. The editorial is supported by set design from Dylan Bailey, casting by Anita Elizabeth Bitton, and manicures by Megumi Yamamoto, with production services provided by Tann Services.
