Night Birds is a fashion editorial series for Harper's Bazaar Italia that explores form, movement, and high-fashion avant-garde silhouettes. Photographed by Nick Knight with fashion direction by Sissy Vian, the project features model Lulu Tenney in a variety of sculptural and textured ensembles. The editorial leans into dramatic, low-key lighting and atmospheric studio settings to highlight intricate details, from elaborate headpieces to voluminous gowns. The production integrates a range of technical approaches, including dynamic long-exposure and motion-blur techniques to convey kinetic energy. Collaborators include hair stylist Eugene Souleiman, makeup artist Karin Westerlund, set designer Andrew Tomlinson, casting director Anita Bitton, and manicurist Adam Slee, who collectively shape the series' polished, moody aesthetic.
