Harper's Bazaar Italia presents Night Birds, a high-fashion editorial series captured by photographer Nick Knight. The project explores avant-garde silhouettes and sculptural textiles, centering on model Lulu Tenney in a variety of dramatic, high-concept looks. With fashion direction by Sissy Vian, the series leans into an ethereal and theatrical visual language, utilizing bold lighting and intricate studio compositions to highlight texture and movement. The production relies on sophisticated art direction, with set design by Andrew Tomlinson, hair styling by Eugene Souleiman, and makeup by Karin Westerlund. The images move between moody, low-key lighting and cleaner, warm-toned portraits, occasionally incorporating long-exposure motion blur to add a sense of kinetic energy to the stillness. Casting was managed by Anita Bitton, with manicure work by Adam Slee.
