Harper's Bazaar Italia presents a multi-faceted series of covers for issue #17, 'The Extreme Self'. This editorial collection features a diverse cast of models and talent, including Karolina Spakowski, Libby Bennett, Paloma Elsesser, and Solange. Guided by creative directors Lee Swillingham and Stuart Spalding, the project explores conceptual portraiture through varied aesthetic lenses. Photography duties were split between Craig McDean, Glen Luchford, Szilveszter Mako, and Willy Vanderperre. The imagery ranges from monochrome architectural studies and moody chiaroscuro lighting to bright, clean studio compositions that highlight intricate textile textures and bold typographic mastheads.
