Harper's Bazaar France
By Hart Lëshkina and Bérenger Pelc

Mar 2026
In this evocative series for Harper's Bazaar France, photographer duo Hart Lëshkina and stylist Bérenger Pelc collaborate to redefine the intersection of luxury fashion houses and contemporary editorial portraiture. The project leans into a rigorous visual language, utilizing a mix of studio strobe and natural light to emphasize the structural integrity of high-end garments. With creative direction from Franck Durand and artistic input from Anaïs Mesmacque and Lise de Martino, the images masterfully navigate the tension between rigid, military-inspired tailoring and organic, fluid movement. Models Aniek Pietersma and Malin Rudnick inhabit an industrial-minimalist space where the tactile nature of leather gloves, structured peplum jackets, and equestrian-inflected uniforms take center stage against stark, featureless backdrops. The editorial aesthetic is further sharpened by the technical precision of Kalle Eklund’s hair styling and the refined makeup artistry of Anthony Preel, which together create a polished, cohesive narrative. By contrasting clinical, industrial props—like salvaged metal bed frames—with the softness of sheer textures and monochromatic palettes, the team challenges traditional silhouette conventions. This body of work stands as a testament to the power of deliberate, minimal art direction, where the interplay of light and shadow serves to elevate the architectural qualities of luxury fashion into a purely graphic experience that remains both timeless and intensely sharp.
