Harper's Bazaar España June 2026 Covers

Jun 2026
For its June 2026 issue, Harper’s Bazaar España masterfully converges high fashion with the architectural genius of Barcelona, resulting in a series of covers that serve as a love letter to Antoni Gaudí. This ambitious editorial production transforms the city’s most iconic landmarks—including the Sagrada Família and Casa Milà—into a dramatic backdrop for avant-garde styling. Through the lenses of photographers Javier Biosca and Vladimir Martí, the project leans into editorial minimalism while maintaining a cinematic quality that elevates the subjects beyond traditional portraiture. Stylist Claudia Laukamp punctuates the stark, modernist stone textures with sculptural, metallic garments and shimmering sequined pieces, creating a striking visual tension between organic architecture and precise, futuristic design. With makeup and hair styling by Estrella Elorduy and Raquel Costales, the models, including Hana Jirickova and Paola Manes, adopt poses that echo the swirling geometry of their environment, blending seamlessly into the landscape of natural light and shadow. The project effectively captures a dialogue between historical preservation and contemporary visual media, utilizing bold, elegant typography to frame these portraits as definitive cultural statements. By prioritizing natural light and sharp composition, the team captures the intricate surfaces of the city, ensuring each cover feels like a curated piece of art rather than a standard newsstand appearance, perfectly aligning with the magazine's reputation for sophisticated, high-concept aesthetics.
