Where Paris Whispers is a fashion editorial series produced for Harper's Bazaar China. The project explores urban landscapes, utilizing the city's architectural textures as a backdrop for a collection of layered, contemporary looks. Photographer Dalong Yang captures the model in a variety of candid and dynamic poses, moving through streets, bridges, and park settings. The series relies on natural light to emphasize the movement of hair and the varied materiality of the clothing, ranging from structured leather jackets to delicate lace dresses. The work features a blend of monochrome and warm color palettes, frequently employing analogue film techniques to achieve a gritty, timeless aesthetic.
