Harper's Bazaar China November 2025 Digital Cover

Nov 2025
Harper’s Bazaar China’s November 2025 digital cover story delivers a striking exploration of harvest-inspired themes, blending high-fashion sensibilities with rustic, organic textures. The editorial series features models Ning Jinyi and Qun Ye in a variety of conceptual studio settings, utilizing natural elements like cherry tomatoes, garlic bulbs, and golden wheat to juxtapose refined garments with raw, earthy materials. Captured with a tactile focus, the imagery employs both clean, low-key lighting and warm, soft illumination to highlight intricate details ranging from voluminous knitwear to layered ruffles. Photographer Ren Haihua leads the creative vision for this project, working alongside fashion editor and stylist Zhi Yong to curate a diverse range of layered, structured apparel. Makeup artist Mountain Gao rounds out the team, incorporating delicate decorative accents and radiant tones to complement the series’ grounded, earthy palette. The project leans into a vertical editorial format, utilizing techniques such as chiaroscuro and high-speed freeze motion to create a layered visual narrative.
