Harper's Bazaar Arabia: Face Value

Face Value is a high-fashion editorial series commissioned by Harper's Bazaar Arabia. Through a collection of macro beauty shots and dynamic styling portraits, the project examines the interplay between luxury accessories, cosmetic application, and polished aesthetic detailing. Photographer Arthur Belebeau employs a clean, minimalist studio approach, utilizing bright, even lighting to accentuate the textures of satin fabrics, intricate jewelry, and precise manicures. Featuring model Samantha Saba, the series centers on an interplay of vivid color palettes—ranging from deep reds to emerald greens—against stark white backdrops. The work is defined by its meticulous attention to detail, from macro beauty close-ups to curated shots of timepieces and ornate handbags. Key creative contributions include hair styling by David Cruz, makeup artistry by Hector Simancas, casting by Jean-Marc Mondelet, and manicures by Michina Koide.
