HAUTE PURSUIT for Harper's Bazaar Arabia is a sprawling fashion editorial that plays with the juxtaposition of high-concept haute couture and everyday urban environments. Photographer Luis Monteiro and fashion editor Steven Doan place sculptural, high-fashion silhouettes into a variety of settings, ranging from the structured classical architecture of Paris to unexpected, gritty locales like a subterranean metro station, a grocery store aisle, and a delivery truck. The project leans into a clean, editorial aesthetic, relying on natural light to highlight the intricate beadwork, voluminous ruffles, and dramatic textures of the collection. Through a mix of vibrant, saturated compositions and high-contrast monochrome imagery, the series focuses on form and architecture, framing the garments as objects that interact with their surroundings rather than just clothing.
