Colours of Deception is a fashion editorial series for Grey Magazine Italy that explores architectural shapes and tailored silhouettes. The project, led by photographer Mila Forte and Editor-in-Chief Valentina Ilardi, features model Anick Chan navigating a variety of urban settings, from terracotta-lined streetscapes to textured concrete alleyways. The series leans into a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing natural light to highlight the exaggerated proportions of oversized woolen coats and boxy suits. Through a mix of monochrome and muted, earthy tones, the imagery emphasizes the interplay between graphic building facades and the dynamic movement of the subject. The work relies on editorial photography techniques that favor raw textures and negative space to define the mood.
