PORTRAY NEURALGIA is a fashion editorial series produced for Grey Magazine Italy. Directed and photographed by Riccardo Albanese, the work explores raw, high-contrast imagery through a strictly monochrome lens. The project utilizes a gritty, documentary-inspired aesthetic, incorporating analogue film techniques and low-key chiaroscuro lighting. Set against backdrops of abandoned industrial decay and stark natural landscapes, the series emphasizes architectural texture and atmospheric tension. Produced by Romina Piperno with makeup artistry by Giovanni Iovine and editorial oversight from Valentina Ilardi, the project maintains a consistent visual language that balances sculptural fashion portraiture with distressed, derelict environments.
