For 'An Unfinished Room, The Beauty of Being,' Grazia Slovenia explores a conceptual approach to fashion editorial photography. Photographer Haoyu Jin and creative director Manman Mira develop a visual language rooted in sculptural minimalism, utilizing clean, expansive studio spaces to frame model Xiru Yang amidst a series of disparate, domestic-inspired objects. The project leans into a tension between structured tailoring and playful, tactile elements. Across the series, the imagery incorporates diverse props—from unmade bedding and scattered yarn to violins and minimalist furniture—to create a sense of deliberate, unfinished narrative. Executed with a focus on soft, diffused lighting, the editorial maintains a restrained, contemporary aesthetic that balances sharp silhouettes with an open, airy composition.
