Grazia Mexico
DEBORAH VIANA x Dolce Gabbana

May 2026
Grazia Mexico transports viewers into a sun-drenched, mid-century reverie with this editorial fashion campaign featuring Deborah Viana. Through the lens of photographer Benjo Arwas, the project leans into a nostalgic, cinematic mood that bridges high-end luxury fashion with an authentic, retro-inspired aesthetic. Shot on 35mm film, the series utilizes natural light to wash over textured stone surfaces and plush, saturated velvet interiors, creating a visual dialogue between the stark, turquoise poolscapes and the warmth of a vintage bedroom. The creative direction, supported by the keen editorial eye of fashion stylist Shalev Lav’an, highlights the ornate details of the Dolce & Gabbana collection, from ditsy floral prints to gold logo-adorned jewelry. Hair stylist Ricky Fraser complements the look with voluminous, dark curls that anchor the 1970s-infused style of the session. By weaving together props like vintage television sets and classic corded telephones, the project crafts a narrative that feels both intimate and grandly staged. This lifestyle-driven editorial succeeds by allowing the tactile qualities of the clothing—its flowing silhouettes and delicate lace trims—to stand out against an evocative, analogue film backdrop, proving that even the most established luxury houses benefit from a deliberate, storytelling-focused approach to creative production.
