About

Grazia Malaysia presents 'This is the way my life unfolds,' a fashion editorial series that explores structure and silhouette through a minimalist lens. The project leans into graphic compositions and clean studio aesthetics, utilizing both soft, diffused lighting and hard, high-contrast directional beams to emphasize the texture of the wardrobe. Styling by Carlos Mangubat anchors the series in avant-garde tailoring, featuring structured capes, voluminous shearling coats, and monochromatic pleated ensembles. Hair and makeup by Ashleigh Carpenter maintain a consistent, polished look with slicked-back styling and natural, clean makeup applications. The editorial moves between controlled studio environments and direct natural light, allowing the interplay of light and shadow to define the graphic shapes of the garments.
