Tailored Authority is a fashion editorial series for GQ Turkey, captured by photographer Selcuk Danyildiz and featuring model Valeriy Pakhomov. The project focuses on sharp menswear silhouettes, spanning classic suiting, tailored outerwear, and layered knitwear pieces. The execution relies on a mixed-media approach that blends traditional studio photography with tactile, artistic interventions. Danyildiz integrates graphic overlays including hand-drawn marker sketches, iridescent liquid drips, and collage techniques where photographic prints are torn, taped, or layered to create a three-dimensional effect. The imagery balances clean, minimalist studio lighting with moody chiaroscuro, emphasizing the rich textures of the garments and the refined posing of the subject.
