HEAT INDEX, a sprawling editorial fashion showcase for GQ Turkey, serves as an evocative masterclass in visual storytelling and menswear composition. Captured through the sharp, precise lens of photographer Dan-Cristian Gocan, the series leans into an aesthetic of high-contrast editorial minimalism, utilizing natural light and high-key lighting techniques to transform static portraits into cinematic, heat-drenched vignettes. Featuring model Josh McGregor, the project explores the interplay between human anatomy and geometric architecture, utilizing dramatic shadows, sharp lines, and unexpected textures like suede and leather to define a modern, sleek silhouette.
